Ta’limul Muta’allim (Pentingnya Adab Sebelum Ilmu)

[SJ] Fiqh al-Sunnah by Sayyid Sabiq (4 Vols) / فقه السنة لسيد سابق
The famous book of Fiqh by Shaykh Sayyed Saabiq, clear and simple, accented with many daleel, in three volumes.
We advise you to read and accompanied by extensive notes and detailed corrections of Sheikh al-Albani with his book al-Tamaam Minnah, sold on the site.
Shaykh Al-Albani has praised this book : “Certainly, the book Fiqhus-Sunnah of Shaykh Sayid Saabiq is among the finest books written in his field, I met by chance by its excellent organization, clear writing style and lack of complex expressions found in many books of Fiqh … “(Tamam al-Minna, p.10)
In The Shade Of The Qur’an (18 VOLS)
This is volumes 1 to 18 (Surahs 1 to 114, the entire Qur’an) of Qutub’s Shade.
In the Shade of the Qur’an is more than ‘just another’ commentary; yet it is not too over-reaching or outlandish to be a completely new interpretation. It is an earnest, sincere, and sober look at man’s contemporary achievements and difficulties in the light of the message of the Qur’an. It is an effort to vigorously explore its rich wisdom, and expand its invaluable guidance for the benefit of an increasingly ‘sophisticated’, yet highly perplexed modern society. The work, which is by far Sayyid Qutb’s largest and most profound, spans the whole of the text of the Qur’an. It was written, and party re-written over a period of more than 15 years, most of which the author had spent in Egyptian prisons, during the 1950s and 1960s. In it is embedded Sayyid Qutb’s insight, highly esteemed intellectual vigor, and his widely-acclaimed literary prowess. This book has been universally recognized as an outstanding contribution to Islamic thought and scholarship, to which students and scholars, as well as contemporary Islamic revivalist movements all over the world, owe a great deal. Now that it is available in English, it will continue to enlighten and inspire millions more. It will take its rightful place as an indispensable work of reference for a proper understanding of contemporary Islamic thinking.

Divine Will and Predestination; Islamic Creed Series Vol. 8
The will and decree of Allah: Is this a matter which is directly relevant to the day-to-day life of the Muslim, or is it an obscure topic best left to the debates of philosophers and theologians? Does it imply that Muslims are ‘fatalists’ who see themselves as helpless in the hands of an indifferent fate? Attitudes towards divine will and predestination have always influenced Muslims’ daily activities. In this final volume of his eight-volume Islamic Creed Series, Dr. ‘Umar al-Ashqar explores this topic in depth, explaining it in clear terms for the ordinary Muslim. Drawing always on the Qur’an and the Sunnah, and on the words of the greatest scholars of Islam such as Ibn Taymiyah, he covers some of the historical debates that took place within the Ummah on this matter. The true Islamic concept of divine will and predestination is an empowering notion. While all that happens takes place within the framework of the divine will, people have freedom of choice within those parameters. This is a matter which is of interest and concern for all Muslims, one which will bring many benefits, both in this world and in the hereafter. This Islamic Creed Series of books has been translated into English by Nasiruddin al-Khattab.
Answers to Frequently Asked Questions on Parenting (Part 3)
This book is the third in a series that contains detailed answers to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on the hot topic of parenting in North America. Because some of these questions have been raised more than once in recent years, we feel that they represent crucial issues of concern occupying the minds of many parents. Making these answers available in a written format would hopefully provide Muslim parents with the proper advice supported by the Qur’an as well as the teachings of the prophet Muhammad SAW.
The methodology used in answering these questions draws heavily on verses of the Qur’an, teachings of the prophet Muhammad SAW, and events in his Seerah, as well as the authors’ wealth of practical experience, gained from their countless parenting counseling sessions over the years, and their knowledge of child psychology.
Contemporary Approaches to The Qur’an
The Qur’an and Sunnah are the two primary sources of Muslim faith, life, law and morality. The Qur’an is for Muslims the foundation of their faith and the Sunnah is the framework of their morality. Together they constitute the two sources of the law (Shari ah) of God, a guide to prosperity and happiness in this life and to the bliss of the hereafter. Although the Qur’an and Sunnah are materially and formally two independent sources, they are inextricably bound in a dynamic relationship. The rulings and precepts (ahkam) of the Qur’an constitute the law (shar ) of God. They are supplemented by the precepts of the authentic Sunnah, which possess authority second only to the precepts of the Qur’an. The Qur’an commands Muslims, Whatever the Messenger gives you, that you must take, and whatever he forbids you, you must desist therefrom…. (59:7).
